AM | Industry will take place on 25 March 2026 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Auditorium of Incubadora de Empresas da Figueira da Foz and SeaPower Labs. This event is organised by SeaPower, with the support of the INOVC+ project.

This workshop focuses on technologies, applications and materials for additive manufacturing, specifically addressing thermoplastic and metallic materials applied to large-scale products. The aim is to provide an applied and industrial perspective on the role of thermoplastics, thermoplastic-based composites and metals in next-generation advanced manufacturing solutions, promoting the exchange of knowledge between industry and the scientific community.

 

AM | Industry will bring together academia and industry in a single forum, bringing together international experts, researchers and entities from the innovation ecosystem for a day dedicated to collaboration and knowledge sharing. The workshop will be attended by several leading industry associations in the metals and plastics sectors, including:

• CEFAMOL (Associação Nacional da Indústria de Moldes)

• NERLEI (Associação Empresarial da Região de Leiria)

• CMM (Associação Portuguesa de Construção Metálica e Mista)

• APIP (Associação Portuguesa da Indústria de Plásticos)

“O INOVC+ é um programa estratégico para a Região Centro que consiste na implementação e consolidação de um Ecossistema de Inovação para a Transferência de Conhecimento e Tecnologia que, num contexto de trabalho em rede de 23 parceiros, potencie a valorização e a transferência de conhecimento e de resultados de I&D+I para a economia regional, sendo uma continuidade dos anteriores programas InovC, InovC 2020 e InovC+. O projeto tem uma duração de 30 meses e um investimento total elegível de cerca 4,1 milhões de euros, cofinanciado a 85% pelo CENTRO 2030, Portugal 2030 e pela União Europeia, Os Fundos Europeus Mais Próximos de Si.”
